Rainbow Place ACT Housing

Capital Bond Electrical was engaged for the full electrical delivery of this ACT Government redevelopment, transforming two existing blocks into six modern, adaptable Class C units in line with Livable Housing Design Guidelines.

Project Highlights:

• Underground Civil & Mains Infrastructure
  Completed all underground electrical and communications trenching, including mains cable runs, conduit installation, and pit works, delivered in accordance with Evoenergy and NBN Co requirements.

• New Main Switchboard (MSB)
  Designed and installed a custom main switchboard to service all six units, incorporating:

  • Evoenergy-compliant metering and CT chamber
  • Segregated metered submains to each dwelling
  • Integrated isolation for future maintenance flexibility

• Complete Fitout of 6 Units
  Each unit was wired to Class C adaptable standards, including LED lighting, accessibility-ready GPO layouts, smoke alarms, and energy-efficient appliances.

• NBN Provisioning
  Installed and tested NBN infrastructure for full multi-dwelling connectivity, ready for activation at handover.
