Hume Recycling Facility

Capital Bond Electrical delivered a high-impact industrial installation for the new Re.Group recycling facility in Hume, ACT, completed under a tight one-month program from groundworks to full operational handover.

Our team executed six large submain runs and installed six custom switchboards, providing power to all site offices, plant systems, and critical operational equipment. The project involved an extensive underground cabling rollout, carefully coordinated to service immediate needs while also allowing for future expansion.

We worked closely with stakeholders to incorporate key provisions for a potential Stage 2, ensuring the infrastructure could scale—all while staying within a strict budget. The installation also included LED high-bay lighting, general power, and engineered cable support systems.

Delivered on time, under pressure, and built for growth—this was the kind of job that pushed us to the edge and left us hungry for a whole lot more industrial work.
